Adorable Baby Turtle Joins 140-Year-Old Mother on an іпсгedіЬɩe Hitchhiking Adventure

The lifespan of an African spurred tortoise is about 50 to 150 years, although they can live much longer.

At just four days old, this adorable turtle is less than a tenth the size of its mother and is one of eight born at the Nyiregyhaza Animal Park in Hungary.

The baby turtles happily sat on their mother sunbathing as she made her way around their enclosure.

The eight babies were born after 115 days, measuring 5.5 cm long and weighing only 25 grams.

The young man along with his seven brothers and sisters was the first time this type of African spurred tortoise was born in the Animal Park, just 140 miles from Budapest.

The spurred tortoise is the largest ѕрeсіeѕ of land tortoise in Africa, the weight of an adult animal can reach 80 kg.
