Chained in сгᴜeɩtу: The Heartbreaking Tale of a Two-Year-Old Dog Ьoᴜпd by a Thick Metal Chain, Enduring Physical Restraint and Emotional tгаᴜmа .QN

Violet, a two-year-old dog, became the center of attention when a passing vehicle spotted her and several other dogs, all tied up by thick, restrictive metal chains. These chains not only prevented the dogs from moving freely but also caused them harm. Angela Stell, founder and director of NMDOG, revealed that Violet had probably spent her entire life in chains.

This disturbing discovery took place on a property in New Mexico, where keeping dogs chained without human control is illegal. Concerned for the well-being of these dogs, NMDOG took action involving the local county sheriff’s department to locate the owners. Unfortunately, it appeared that the dogs had been abandoned, leading NMDOG to take all six dogs into its care, including Violet. Thus he began his road to recovery.

When describing Violet’s initial state, Stell mentioned that she was shocked and still showing some apprehension, indicating possible abuse in her past. However, the good news is that Violet is currently in good health and is on the road to emotional recovery. Once she completes the recovery process, she will be eligible for adoption.

This rescue story sheds light on the plight of dogs subjected to neglect and abuse, emphasizing the importance of organizations like NMDOG in giving these animals a second chance. Violet’s story is not only about her survival but also about hope for a better future through compassion and efforts dedicated to rehabilitation and adoption.
