The chicks hatched after 22 days from the five eggs incubated by Hacer Han, who raises chickens at her home in the Saruhanlı district of Manisa.
It was observed that one of the newly hatched chicks had four legs.
This unique chick struggled with walking and feeding but managed to stay alive for two days.
Hacer, the owner of the chick, expressed her surprise when they discovered the four-legged chick and shared the following thoughts:
“It’s a creature created by God; we were genuinely amazed. It was a completely natural chick, never exposed to any chemical feeds; it came from a village egg. When word got out about it, many people came to witness it, everyone came out of curiosity and took pictures of it.”
Hacer continued her account:
“I tried my best to care for him. Because he couldn’t walk properly, the other chicks inadvertently stepped on him. Unfortunately, we couldn’t keep him alive, and he passed away this morning.”
