Fгаɡіɩe Two-Month-Old Puppy: ѕeⱱeгeɩу Malnourished, Covered in Painful Mange, Trembles While Trying to Move .QN

When Krista came across Ayla, a little puppy, she was met with a heartbreaking sight. Ayla, just over two months old, was in a state of immense suffering. She was severely malnourished, her fragile body covered in painful mange and she trembled as she struggled to move on the ground. Krista, aware of the urgency of the situation, acted quickly and took Ayla to the vet. It was there that the severity of Ayla’s condition became painfully clear.

X-rays revealed the distressing truth: Ayla had ingested a stone, indicating her severe calcium deficiency. Tragically, this deficiency had caused both of Ayla’s front legs to become deformed, causing her to drag on the ground, further subjecting her to wounds and abrasions.

Ayla is currently under intensive medical care and is receiving dedicated support from the Little Steps organization to aid her recovery. The road to recovery can last up to three months and require unwavering commitment and attention, focusing primarily on Ayla’s well-being. Encouragingly, x-rays revealed that Ayla had not suffered any fractures, raising hopes that her mobility would return.

After a long visit to the vet, they discovered Ayla resting comfortably in her own plush bed, radiating joy and peace. In addition to receiving the vital nutrition she needed, Ayla was even granted moments outside to sunbathe. This simple pleasure served to lift her spirits, despite the persistent discomfort caused by her scabies. Ayla’s remarkable patience throughout this challenging journey deserves praise, and she has been relocated to a private, quiet space to give her ample time to rest and recover.

We are committed to providing constant updates on Ayla’s progress as she will need to wear a bandage for about a week. Please join us in supporting Ayla and being with her every step of the way. Our goal is to raise awareness about the profound impact of rescuing and rehabilitating endangered animals. Together, let’s share Ayla’s story far and wide, inspiring others to act.
