The incredible resilience of a black puppy found alive in extreme circumstances has left everyone amazed.
The focus of this moving story is a 12-year-old Spanish mastiff found in danger inside an olive grove in the Cazorla de Jaé region, Spain. Abandoned in a hut, apparently lifeless, the poor dog was in a state of disarray, with bloody wounds on his side and a cut on his snout.
The TARA Animal Association received information on February 4 from concerned farmers about the vulnerable status of the mastiff. Unfortunately, witnesses were reluctant to intervene due to the dog’s size and possible aggressive behavior.
His life seemed like an abyss: infected wounds, loneliness, cold, hunger, malnutrition.
However, Isabel, vice president of TARA, highlighted the bravery that women often show by risking everything to save a life. The association shared a video that captures the moment they found the dog in the middle of a disconcerting scene.
“It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever faced in my life,” Isabel lamented.
Spitting rotten blood down his back, his eyes wide with pain, the dog’s suffering was unimaginable. The association highlighted the need for stricter laws against such cruelty, expressing disbelief at the monstrous act.
The case caught the attention of local media and lit up social media. They named the puppy Titan, precisely because of his titanic struggle to survive despite being buried alive.
His rescuers were heartbroken when they saw his sad face, knowing that the only thing he had known was abuse despite having a soul full of light and kindness.
His hind legs were completely numb from the days he spent buried.
Immediately, he was placed in the hands of veterinary doctors, who managed to remove him for the moment. Life bursts forth and Titan shows the world that, in the end, love always triumphs over evil.
The association celebrated its small advance, noting that it is a significant victory for Titan. The wounds are healing, his mental state is more relaxed and he shows signs of resilience. Despite the challenges, they are confident that he will overcome the hardships inflicted on him by his previous owner.
