As I walked down the street, I heard a faint bark coming from a nearby alley. I looked back at the noise and found a frightening situation. An emaciated, skinny stray dog ​​was struggling to get up. He had very little hair on his body and was covered with skin diseases. My heart tightened as he watched him cry and struggle to move.

 

 

I cautiously approached the dog, not knowing what to expect. It was clear that he needed food, water and possibly medical attention. He was so weak that he could barely drink a sip of the water I tried to give him. His weight was very low and his ribs were visible, indicating that he had not eaten for days, or even longer.

 

 

I knew I had to take action. I quickly left on a tricycle to bring food and water to the dog. When I returned, Dayao, also an animal lover, found us working together to try to save him. Together we feed him and comfort him.

 

 

The poor puppy devoured the food we gave him quickly, showing his great hunger. It was obvious that he had spent a lot of time looking for food while he wandered around. After examining him closely, we discovered that his movements were still clumsy and weak.

 

 

The dog was suffering from a сᴜtaneous ɡгаⱱe condition and we could tell that he had been suffering for a long time. It was unclear if he had been abandoned or if he had gotten lost, but one thing was certain: he desperately needed help.

 

 

We decided to take the puppy to a shelter so he could receive the attention and care he needed. We watched as the dog staggered towards us, unable to stand. It was heartbreaking to witness. Before he got there, he seemed to have lost all hope.

 

 

Although the road to the shelter was long and difficult, we feel it was worth it. The dog had been given a second chance at life. It’s amazing how a little kindness and compassion can make a big difference in a child’s life.

 

 

The memory of this encounter with the stray dog ​​is still vivid in my memory. He made it clear to me how important it is to treat all living beings with love and respect, no matter what they were like in the past or present. No matter how insignificant our individual contributions may seem, we can all have an impact.
